Make a Difference Day

Dalton Little Theatre is thrilled to be a recipient of a Make a Difference Day grant. Our project is Theater Refurbishing and Rummage Sale. On Oct 25, we will have a rummage sale starting at 7:00 am and begin the deep cleaning of the theater and storage areas. Many hands make light work and we invite anyone to come and help us bring the beauty of the theater to life. Dalton Little Theatre's mission is to entertain and educate audiences, participants and the community through a broad spectrum of theatrical opportunities.

Dalton Little Theatre, DLT, is celebrating 139 years of existence. With its first documented performance in 1869, the organization began as The Dalton Amateurs, and continued as The Sophoclean Dramatic Club, and The Dalton Players, before becoming Dalton Little Theatre in 1955. It performed continuously except for breaks for WWI and WWII. The organization formally incorporated in 1958, and found its first home in 1981 when it converted the former firehouse built in 1888 into The Firehouse Theatre, where it has been since.

The Dalton Little Theatre raffle and rummage sale. Pentz Street, Downtown Dalton. Saturday, October 25. 7am-3pm. All raffle tickets are $1 and raffle items include a beautiful nylon rug valued @ $500, printed rug, night out including dinner and a movie for 2, and much more. Rummage sale items include household and children's items, electronics, books, etc. There will be something for everyone.

All DLT members, volunteers, and friends, along with members of the community are invited to join us on Make A Difference Day.
