Dalton Little Theatre seeks local Directors for the 2024-2025 Season! 

Dalton Little Theatre is currently seeking submissions for the 2024-2025 season. Area directors are encouraged to submit proposals for musicals or plays that will appeal to a broad base of performers and audiences. We are seeking musicals, comedies, and dramas of various size and scale for our regular season. Previous directing experience is preferred, but not required.

If you wish to direct for the DLT Youth Ensemble Theatre (shows for and with young people), you may submit the same application, only specifying your interest is in YET.

Deadline: April 1, 2024

If you have more than one show that you would be interested in directing, please submit up to three shows for consideration in one production time slot. Email your submission in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format to DLT’s Board, ATTN Play Selection Committee at dlt@optilink.us by midnight, April 1, 2024.

Alternatively, you may mail your application to Dalton Little Theatre, ATTN Play Selection Committee at PO Box 841 Dalton, GA 30722. However, to make certain that your application is received in time, please mail it no later than March 24, 2024

• Director’s manual and contract

All those selected to direct at Dalton Little Theatre will be expected to review, sign, and abide by our Director’s Manual and Contract. For your convenience, a Board Of Directors member/Show Liaison will provide you with a current copy of the Manual and blank Contract, when the 2024/25 Season Director’s Training is scheduled.
